Condor to terminate stretcher services

German airline Condor has announced that stretcher transportation will not be offered for flights departing after 1 of November 2017.

The possibility to repatriate customers using a regular seat (including extra seats) on Condor and Thomas Cook Airlines flights remains unchanged. Condor recommend that clients considering using its business-class seats with 170 degrees recline (only available on long-haul flights) as a cost-effective alternative to stretcher transport. If passengers require additional oxygen, it is possible to use an FAA approved portable oxygen concentrator; oxygen can be provided on Condor flights operated by Condor aircrafts only (Wenoll).
